March Madness; whether it’s a month-long basketball holiday in your home or just another well-known phrase, we’re setting out to make the best of it. We’ll be hosting our very own March Madness Challenge! See what you’re capable of this month as you push yourself to do something physical every single day.
Exercise of the Month- The “Kick and Kurl”
This movement is a great way to challenge both your upper and lower body, as you stand on one leg and perform a bicep curl at the same time. Choose a level to begin with below, and see if you can move up to a more challenging set over the course of the month.
Beginner: 3 sets of 10 reps on each leg
Intermediate: 3 sets of 15 reps on each leg
Expert: 3 sets of 20 reps on each leg
To up the challenge even more, get these exercises in after a run, a match of tennis, or any other type of cardio.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by Eating Green (Naturally!)
Whether you’ll be enjoying a day filled with Leprechauns and Irish festivities or just wearing a green top to work, filling your meals and snacks with the color green can get you a little more in the spirit.
The following recipes will help you do so in a healthy manner, by adding naturally green foods to your holiday meal plan: click here for recipes.

This set of six products comes with your choice of a tinted foundation or a tinted moisturizer, a touchup skin concealer pen, satin powder blush, lip gloss, a brow pencil or brow gel, and your choice of lengthening or volumizing mascara.
Flawless in Five is completely customizable to match your individual skin tone, and helps recommend color shades to compliment your complexion. As with all Beautycounter products, these cosmetic products are safer, cleaner, and natural, and the set comes in at just $150.
You can view the Flawless in Five set here.
As the company continues to provide the cleanest line of cosmetics in the United States, Beautycounter eliminates worry that users of other cosmetic brands may have.
NBC News’ Lester Holt recently shared news on trace amounts of carcinogens, including Asbestos, showing up in FDA testing of baby powders and makeup products. Unfortunately, this finding is all too real. The cosmetic industry is not regulated, and companies can claim the use of “natural” ingredients, no matter what they actually put in their produtcs.
If you’re looking for a natural line of beauty products you can trust, Beautycounter is it. They have over 1500 harmful ingredients banned from their products, making their restrictions tighter than Europe, a world leader in clean beauty.
