HOW is it possible that we’re already headed into Q4? I can’t believe it’s officially the season of pumpkin spice, crisp mornings, and Halloween! While much of our fall and winter culture revolves around letting yourself indulge, enjoying bags upon bags of candy, and falling off your gym routine before the new year surge, I want to offer a fresh perspective. It’s possible to enjoy Q4 with a moderate and healthy approach; savoring yummy treats, trick-or-treating with the kids, hunkering down for the winter, AND making time for movement and nourishing meals. Today, I want to break down how that can look for you while sharing some tips, tricks, and product recommendations along the way!

Movement of the Month: HIIT
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is one of my favorite forms of exercise, full stop. It works your heart and lungs at maximum capacity for short, strategic intervals, allowing you to remain in a fat-burning state for hours afterward. It also takes up such a short amount of time that it’s hard to make an excuse to not do it… but why not spice it up a little for the holidays?
This Halloween-themed HIIT dance workout will have you feeling sweaty and energized for the big holiday this month… all while getting you in the holiday spirit!
Healthier Halloween Candy Options for the Entire Family
Don’t get me wrong, I love candy as much as the next girl… especially Halloween candy.. Nothing beats the memories of laying out my Halloween candy and trading with friends for more of my favorites. I want those happy memories for all of our little ones! However, with each passing year, there are more and more additives and artificial ingredients in our kids’ candy, and sometimes I just want to strip back all the nonsense and give them something a little simpler and healthier. That’s where Yum Earth, Unreal, Justin’s, and many more wonderful and naturally minded brands come in. This article does an amazing job breaking down some delicious and nutritious alternatives to classic Halloween candy, and I hope you’ll consider adding them to your candy bowl this year!
Spooky Season Blends

Stay Stylish & Protected This Fall
Now that the weather has cooled down, it’s the perfect time of year for outdoor walks and runs! However, just because the sun isn’t heating us up it doesn’t mean it isn’t impacting our skin. Sunburns can happen even when we’re not feeling hot, and that’s why I’m so thrilled to share this adorable quarter zip from BloqUV! It protects your skin from the sun, keeps you warm on crisp morning walks, and comes in 6 flattering and beautiful colors.
Real Talk: Does Laser Therapy Hurt?
Laser therapy must be applied directly to the skin since clothing or bandages block the light. During treatment, patients typically feel gentle warmth, and many describe the experience—especially with the massage ball attachment—as similar to a relaxing “laser massage.” Higher-powered treatments often bring quick pain relief, which can be especially noticeable for people dealing with chronic pain.
In summary: NO! It doesn’t hurt and can even feel soothing. If you’re ready to book your very first laser therapy session, be sure to do so next time you’re in the studio.
